Leaders need to focus on long term impacts now that will lead to sustainable and meaningful contributions for generations to come whilst immediately providing adequate levels of cognitive stimulation.

Future Executive Leaders have to access their ‘inner source’ and systemic ‘sources’(the sources we have access to in a global/cosmic system) to be able to deal with the challenges created by an exponential number of challenges.

We do not ‘know’ what is going to happen due to more volatility in world and world markets.Leaders do not have ‘control’ over other people. They have control over themselves, their next steps, seeds they sow, planning and action.

Leaders do not have ‘control’ over other people. But they have control over themselves, their next steps, the seeds that they sow, plans they make and actions they take.In this journey of life (as per the diagram below):

We start our journey of growth in life by being totally dependent on and learning from others:

  • In the next phase we aim to establish our Self and what we stand for (values) and where we want to go;
  • We have to ’let go’ of baggage daily, develop our unlimited potential (unlimited because we do not know what it can be) and strive for clarity of thinking at all times;
  • And if we are able to successfully negotiate this phase we move to a phase where we use our Self out there for and with others to make a meaningful contribution.
  • This journey always takes place in the context a family, organisational, global and a spiritual system.

The journey is great, challenging and an opportunity to grow and contribute.

Systemic coach - the growth of the self

The systemic coach walks with the Leader on this journey while on their own journey. Systemic Coaching takes place in the above context where the coach has to have clarity of his/her framework and clarity of thinking at all times to be optimal.
